Nestled in the foothills of the Gold Coast Hinterland, PDQ’s latest Aged Care project Carinity Cedarbrook has now reached completion. Located in Mudgeeraba, the facility offers residents expansive rural views and stunning internal facilities.

This Greenfield project is the first stage in the master plan for an integrated site development which comprises a blending of residential aged care and supported living with existing Carinity community based services.

This first stage involved the development of the 96-bed aged care community over 3 levels, designed to feel like home. Each level of the building offers residents shorter corridors, with living and communal spaces designed to look and feel like living areas within a domestic environment.

PDQ worked collaboratively with the Carinity team throughout the design and construction phases, creating development outcomes which have exceeded the expectations of residents and staff. The landscaping complements the internal layout and finishes with a variety of themed courtyards, an outdoor memory assisted activity garden, a large BBQ area and outdoor alfresco dining opportunities.

Cedarbrook also offers a self-serve café, Pipi’s beauty therapy salon, private dining room, commercial kitchen, dedicated chapel and wellness centre. This beautiful aged care community is for all to enjoy.

PDQ are currently completing a third project for Carinity. Having completed both Fairfield Grange in Townsville and Cedarbrook in Mudgeeraba, PDQ are now undergoing works at Carinity’s Brookfield site, with the construction of a new 96 bed aged care facility, due for completion in the second half of 2018. Paynter Dixon Queensland value their association with Carinity. We hold a mutual understanding and respect that delivers the results we both strive to achieve.
