A grand celebration!

Paynter Dixon Queensland (PDQ) joined valued clients at Cooinda Aged Care on Saturday to celebrate the grand opening of their newest development in Gympie. This state-of-the-art addition to the existing facility included a 2 storey, 50 bed residential care building, known as the Hibiscus Wing.

The opening ceremony event was chaired by Cooinda CEO Robyn Kross, with special guest speaker Federal Member for Wide Bay, MP Llew O’Brien. Following officiations and a blessing of the grounds, the ceremony guests were invited on a tour of the facility. With a diverse range of accommodation options, including one bedroom care apartments, and a number of premium bedrooms and ensuites options, the Hibiscus wing is already home to a number of happy residents. They shared their delight with the PDQ team, with special mention to the vibrant interiors and the beautiful landscaped grounds.

The facility has exceeded the expectations of both staff and residents, as they now settle in enjoy the experience that is Cooinda. The project – from design to delivery, is a remarkable achievement for PDQ’s Aged Care team, finished to the highest of standards and well under budget! Working with our longstanding partners at Cooinda Aged Care, PDQ aim to optimise the beauty of this unique setting for the next stage of development.
