Culture

Why work with us?

We’re building something special here. Many of our team members have been with us for decades, and not only that but many of our valued clients are the same – our long-term partners over many projects and years. The longevity of those relationships is a true testament to our success, and we certainly don’t take it for granted.

We strive to understand our clients’ needs and aspirations, to listen more than we speak, to let the knowledge and truth of their experience in their industry, the peculiarities of a particular building site, or the values of their business be the lights by which we move forward. When a project ends, the relationship doesn’t.

Training & Development

We have a responsibility to the next generation. Our in-house Cadet Program offers young people the opportunity to gain practical, hands-on experience across our business. We also work with tertiary providers including Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) & TAFE Queensland to facilitate training and development opportunities to school based trainees and apprentices.

Indigenous Engagement

People and community are at the heart of everything we do. Paynters are pleased to be embarking on the next stage of our Reconciliation journey, dedicated to supporting Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander peoples to create an all encompassing workplace and closing the economic, social and health gap once and for all.

Why Paynters?

We are a part of the communities in which we operate and we embrace our responsibility to help provide long-term economic and social benefits for them.

We choose to work with businesses that demonstrate clear, long-term plans for delivering financial and operational sustainability. We help to drive local industry participation in our projects, and we welcome and engage with local input.

In rural and remote locations, we partner with local governments and businesses, tailoring our activities to respond to the unique requirements of each community. Through this process of responsive engagement we have built a positive and valuable reputation, and we continue to build on these relationships as we grow.
