A Mighty BBQ for Little Clara!

The Paynters team working on the Mater Private Hospital Carpark project in Townsville recently showed their community spirit, rallying the wider workforce on site to support a mighty little local hero. Clara is a 4-year-old Townsville local, who is currently battling a number of very serious health conditions. When our team on the ground heard of Clara’s struggles (a little girl who is essentially allergic to everything), they put their hands up to help.

A BBQ and raffle were organised to assist the family’s fundraising efforts. Following the tremendous community donations to date, the impressive efforts from the Mater site team, and a contribution from the Paynters Foundation, we were pleased to see Clara’s family reach their fundraising goal of $10,000.  

A big shout out to the generous contributions from Sunvale Meats, Ingham Road Seafood, and Boral that were raffled off during the Paynters site event.
