A Morning with Shayna Jack | International Women’s Day

Paynters were honoured to welcome the incredibly talented Shayna Jack to our Brisbane Office this week, joining us as our special guest speaker in recognition of #InternationalWomensDay.

Shayna reflected on her career to date as a passionate Australian Swimmer, Commonwealth Games Medallist & World Record Holder, shedding light on some of her most rewarding and challenging moments in and out of the pool. We heard about times when faced with adversity, how resilience and determination changed her pathway (and how it can change our own) and how equity plays a role in allowing everyone to reach their destination. It’s safe to say Shayna’s motivating words certainly left a legacy here at Paynters.

Like the brilliant Shanya, we feel very fortunate to have so many strong and accomplished women in our team. Today and every day, Paynters will continue to take action towards equitable outcomes on behalf of our people, clients and communities. Our industry still has a long way to go, but in the wise words of Shayna Jack “our individualities are our strength, let’s build environments that recognise this.”
