The spectacular new Kurrawa Surf Life Saving Club had its Grand Opening last night, with a number of special guests invited to formally usher in this exciting new chapter in one of Australia’s premier SLS Clubs. Gold Coast Mayor Tom Tate commenced proceedings, unveiling a plaque to commemorate the Gold Coast community’s latest iconic asset.

Design and constructed by the Paynter Dixon Queensland team, this remarkable venue has made an incredible impression on club members and the local community.

This significant milestone for the club coincides with the 60th anniversary since it first opened its doors in 1958, and coincidently marks the 20th anniversary of the Paynter Dixon Queensland and Kurrawa relationship. PDQ team could not be prouder having delivered this iconic venue for the Club and the Gold Coast community.
