Capalaba Shop Fire Rectification Works

In September 2021, the Capalaba Shopping Precinct was severely damage by a fire at the rear of the premises which required the complete demolition of the structural elements of the building. Working closely with our project partners at Vero and McLarens, Paynters Insurance team were quick to respond and make safe the site. Soon after, our inhouse design team led a complete redesign of the precinct, after discovering that the slab and subgrade required removal and reinstatement.

With structural works now complete, the roofing install has commenced. In-ground services works have also begun in the rear car park, soon to be followed by rough in of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical services.

With the works progressing well, the Paynters team are working towards a mid-August completion.
