Delivering Critical Cardiac Care

Paynters is proud to have delivered the new purpose-built Cardiology Ward on Level 5 at Rockhampton Hospital, supporting the growth of critical cardiac services in the region.

This new ward doubles capacity from 6 to 12 beds, enabling more patients to access the care they need, closer to home.

Beyond patient outcomes, the ward has been thoughtfully designed to support clinical teams, with dedicated training rooms, meeting spaces and an improved working environment to deliver high-quality care.

Construction is ongoing as we continue to progress the broader cardiac expansion project, including a new Cardiac Hybrid Theatre and an expanded Cardiac Investigations Unit—both on track for completion later this year.
