Paynter Dixon Queensland (PDQ) have partnered with longstanding clients at Redcliffe Leagues club, as site works commence for Stage 2 of the Redcliffe Dolphin Stadium. The project is part of a $6 million dollar build jointly funded by the Moreton Bay Regional Council, Queensland State Government, the Federal Government and the Redcliffe Leagues Club.

PDQ will deliver the new structure on the eastern side of Dolphin Oval, which incorporates a 2,800 seat open air grandstand. The second stage also includes field upgrade, food and beverage outlets, amenities for ticketing, entry and merchandise and a new junior academy building. Facilities will be allocated to the Dolphins Development Program as part of the Dolphins Academy – an initiative aimed at building the future of rugby league in the Moreton Bay Region.

This state-of-the-art addition to the venue follows PDQ’s completion of the Stage 1 works, the construction of the 3,100 seat Des Webb Western Grandstand. Upon completion of all project stages, the venue will have a combined capacity of 10,000 seats.

Redcliffe Leagues Club has endured tremendous growth in the last decade, with these exciting new additions to the club footprint set to provide the ultimate spectator experience for the Redcliffe and Moreton Bay community. As well as rugby league, the infrastructure upgrade will also open more opportunities to host, soccer and rugby union matches, touch football competitions, football carnivals, and other outdoor events.
