Full steam at Brookfield Green
We are making spectacular progress on site at Brookfield Green Residential Aged Care, with construction works taking shape by the day. The project will include a 16 bed special needs unit and a 16 bed step-down unit. Designed to optimise the surrounding Brookfield bushland, the project will also integrate 64 high care beds, new kitchen and laundry for the site, a lower care unit and community facilities, as well as car parking and extensive landscaping.
Site works have been moving swiftly, with roof framing complete and sheeting underway. Framing and services rough in’s have been completed on the ground, first and second levels, with wall sheeting in progress.
This state of the art Brookfield development will build on the existing Carinity site to increase the number of aged care and retirement options available in the area. As an occupied site, careful staging has ensured the facility has continued to operate safely and securely throughout construction period.
Concurrent to the site works, the PDQ team are also preparing a mock up bedroom display, ensuring design functionality of the facility will meet resident requirements. This is PDQ’s third major project with our long-term clients at Carinity – who are incredibly happy with PDQ’s progress. The first stage of works is on track for handover in late May 2018.
