Great Barrier Reef Arena Wins Project of the Year Award

Paynters is thrilled to announce our Great Barrier Reef Arena project not only took out the win for the Sporting Facilities category but also walked away with the Project of the Year Award at the Master Builders Queensland Mackay and Whitsunday region awards on Saturday night.

This project involved the design and construction of a multi-disciplinary sport and recreation facility, featuring the northern grandstand – built over two levels supporting a further 2,000 undercover seats, and state of the art facilities for players, match officials and broadcast TV crews.

We are immensely proud to have played a role in bringing this state-of-the-art arena to life! This recognition is a testament to the hard-working project team, but also the invaluable contributions of our local subcontractor network, who worked tirelessly on the ground.
