Our very own Grant Marshall has taken time this NAIDOC Week to address the Paynters Brisbane Office, speaking about our First Nations people – their history, hardships, culture and traditions. Grant discussed this year’s theme, ‘Heal Country’, explaining why Country represents more than the physical land & how it is fundamental to the identity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Our team have had the privilege of learning from & working with Grant for over 10 years now, and we will continue to follow his lead in fostering Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and heritage in our business. Thank you Grant.

With Paynters Cultural initiatives continuously evolving through our Paynters Training and Development Program & Indigenous Engagement Working Group, we intend to refine our reconciliation journey in the coming months with a Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), outlining purposeful, measurable outcomes as a way forward for our business.

Following Grant’s talk today, the team enjoyed a morning tea of traditional foods and flavours, provided by the wonderful team at Fig Jam and Co, a Certified Supply Nation business.
