Kurrawa SLS Club taking shape
The iconic Kurrawa Surf Lifesaving Club project is progressing rapidly, with this state of the art building now starting to take shape. Despite the unfortunate weather over the last fortnight, the PDQ site team continue to reach project milestones! Following the concrete columns on levels 1 and 2, the level 2 suspended slab has now been poured. The erection of the structural steel roof framing has commenced at the northern end of the site, which will be completed by early May.
In the coming weeks, the PDQ site team are preparing to install the formwork and block materials on the level 2 deck, and the block walls for levels 1 and 2, with all materials loaded on site and ready to go.
With construction tracking well, our client is becoming increasingly excited as the Paynter Dixon Queensland project team brings their dream to a stunning reality. The entire development is on schedule for practical completion in December 2017, ready for the 2018 Commonwealth Games!
