After an impressive 45+ years in the construction industry, including 12 remarkable years with Paynters, Matthew Seligmann (Senior Estimator) embarks on his next chapter in life – a well-deserved retirement.

Last week, the entire team gathered to celebrate Matthew’s journey at Paynters, filled with memorable moments and achievements – check out the list of every tender Matt estimated during his time at Paynters, along with his first preliminary calculations from 1986 and first estimate from 1982. We marked the occasion with a red velvet cake – Matthew’s special request, and the Estimating Team presented him with a brand-new Akubra hat (Matt enjoyed a lunch time walk, but never without a hat!)

Matthew’s contributions have been invaluable, playing a pivotal role in the growth and success of Paynters. His willingness to support and guide others has fostered a collaborative atmosphere within the team. He has been a mentor to many staff members, nurturing their skills and supporting their career growth.

We thank Matthew for his unwavering commitment, hard work, and dedication throughout the years. As he enters this exciting new chapter in life, we wish him nothing but joy and fulfillment.
