The retro-inspired facelift for Lutheran Services Salem Aged Care was finally revealed to the community last week.

Recently completed by Paynters, the renovation is a reflection of the active contribution of the enthusiastic resident committee, who were key consultants on design decision.

The project saw a significant focus on rejuvenating bedrooms and ensuites, living spaces and the chapel. A cafe, new reception area and the outdoor spaces will also be finalised soon.

“We undertook an extensive consultation with key stakeholders at Salem including a resident committee, management and staff in order to understand the needs, opportunities and constraints for the refurbishment,” Paynters Director, John McCafferty said.

Lutheran Services Executive Lead for Aged Care Rose Plater said the Salem community was thrilled with the renovations.
