NRW2024 – Now More Than Ever

As the week comes to a close, we proudly recognise National Reconciliation Week.

National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia. This year’s theme, ‘Now More Than Ever’, emphasizes the urgency and importance of coming together to build a unified nation.

At Paynters, with the guidance of Grant Marshall, our Indigenous Engagement Manager, we are dedicated to rolling out our Indigenous engagement initiatives both internally and across our projects. These initiatives are designed to foster stronger relationships and create opportunities for collaboration with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.  Grant’s leadership and dedication ensure that our efforts are impactful and aligned with the needs and aspirations of Indigenous communities.

Additionally, Grant plays a key role within the industry by connecting with our peers. Most recently he was invited to speak at BMD Group’s National Reconciliation Week event, alongside Aunty Denise Proud, an Educator, Presenter, Author, Artist and proud Aboriginal woman. Together they shared their experiences and stories, emphasizing the importance of building respect and meaningful connections.

Together we continue to work towards a more inclusive and reconciled Australia.
