Prioritising Mental Health

As we continue to prioritise mental health amongst our team and within the industry, we welcomed Mates in Construction to our head office in Milton, to conduct their General Awareness Training.

This training serves as a vital starting point to increase awareness about mental health disorders and suicide.  Its focus on equipping us with the knowledge to recognise the signs of distress or struggle amongst mates and colleagues.  It is the first training stage MATES offer, designed to introduce workers to the problem and identify those interested in advancing to the next stages – Connector and ASIST.

Acknowledging the day to day struggles everyone faces, particularly in the construction field, we’re committed to providing our team with essential tools and resources to navigate their daily routines and provide support to their mates and colleagues.

We look forward to putting some of these team members through Connector Training in the new year, and building a stronger Connector base for our team members.

A big thank you to Dan and Dave for delivering this training to our team.
