Rectification Works at Pet Food Manufacturing Plant

Over the past couple of months, our Paynters Victorian Insurance Project Team has been working at a pet food manufacturing plant situated on the Victorian and New South Wales border, following a substantial fire in the oven facility.

The works included removing the existing heat transfer system, the roof structure, and the mezzanine floor to expose the container ovens. The containers posed a challenge due to their location and weight, some weighing more than 15 tonnes each. Each container was methodically separated and removed with large excavators. The 13-week project was completed on time and incident-free.

Our internal Design team will now begin designing phase two of the project. Stay tuned for more updates.
