Showing Up for Men’s Health

Looking after your mates starts with aconversation, looking after yourself can start with a health check. That was our focus during this year’s Men’s Health Week, caring for our own and each others physical, mental, and social health.
This year’s Men’s Health Week included 65 Paynters team members taking on The Push-Up Challenge, pushing through sore muscles, busy schedules and plenty of friendly competition while completing an incredible 83,138 push-ups, raising almost $4,000 for mental health.
We kept the momentum going during our latest SEQ Site Staff Meeting with a continued focus on health and wellbeing. The meeting was kicked off with everyone receiving a TradeMutt shirt as a reminder to keep the conversations flowing and check in with those around them.
Our team was then joined by Ash from our alliance partner TIACS, and Caine Ansell from Ron Monaghan Foundation. Ash shared valuable insights around men’s mental health, emphasising the importance of reaching out and accessing the free support services that are available, while Caine brought awareness to prostate cancer and the value of regular health checks.
A huge thank you to everyone who participated in The Push-Up Challenge, donated and supported our Men’s Health Week initiatives.
