Tour de Mackay sports precinct

As part of their monthly Council in Community Day, CEO Craig Doyle, Acting Mayor Cr. Karen May & Councillors from the Mackay Regional Council had the chance to inspect the Mackay Sports Precinct recently. The Precinct, located at the CQ University campus at Ooralea allowed Paynters General Manager Brett Johnston and Project Manager Joe Watkins an opportunity to provide a progress update to those attending. As the day was also Queensland Day and the 2018 State of Origin-opener, we were genuinely surprised that more weren’t donning the maroon & white! #inconstruction #paynterpicture
