A significant milestone for Mater Private Hospital Townsville!

We were honoured to join Mater General Manager Stephanie Barwick, Mater Board Chair Patrick Brady, Mater Chief of Mission Alana Jacoby, Senator Nita Green, Phillip Thompson OAM MP, Bishop Timothy J Harris, the broader Mater community and other key stakeholders for the Sod Turning and Blessing of the new maternity and renal unit, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter in healthcare.

This project will deliver:
👶 A brand-new, single-storey 12-bed Maternity Unit – providing high-quality care for mums and bubs
💙 A 12-bay Renal Dialysis Unit – transforming a vacant hospital space into a state-of-the-art facility for renal patients
⚡ Essential electrical infrastructure upgrades – ensuring long-term sustainability and efficiency
