Warrina Innisfail Celebrates

General Manager Brett Johnston was on the ground in Innisfail last week as the Board at Warrina officially signed the contract for a new extension and building upgrade works to the existing facility.

Paynters and the Warrina Innisfail Board have been working closely for some years, commencing with the Site Master Planning and Financial Feasibility Stage. Designed by Paynters specialist aged care design team, the project will commence early in 2019.

The development includes a new 3 storey, state of the art, Residential Aged Care facility, new commercial kitchen and extensions to the existing laundry. The building will provide a safe haven for residents during potential cyclones, incorporating flood barriers to protect lifts, and raised covered walkways for staff to move safely through the building and around the site.

The Warrina and Paynters team are really looking forward to seeing this wonderful new building come to fruition, and most particularly, the joy it will bring to older people from the Innisfail community who need care and support in their advancing years. Design planning has focused on providing a wonderful living environment for residents, a terrific workplace that supports carers to be their best and a home that families seek as their first choice for loved ones.
