Last week, we had the privilege of attending the Sod Turning and Naming Ceremony for the highly anticipated Winnam Residential Aged Care Facility in Lota.  The new culturally inclusive facility will provide 32 much-needed beds, offering a supportive and nurturing home for the community.

Unveiled by Aunty Becky Thomson as Winnam Yagaba Jagu – ‘place to heal altogether completely’, the building designed by the team at Kaunitz Yeung Architecture will be a significant addition to the area, honouring the rich culture and traditions of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

We’re proud to be part of this meaningful journey with WATSIC and Kaunitz Yeung Architecture as we work together to bring this vision to life.
