A Major Milestone for CQ Health!

A milestone moment for CQ Health and the new Cardiac Hybrid Theatre at Rockhampton Hospital.

We have completed the first stages of work — delivering a brand-new Paediatrics Outpatients Clinic and Antenatal and Gynaecology Outpatients Clinic on Level 2.

Work included the demolition of the existing allied health space to make way for these new outpatient areas, followed by the design and construction of 16 new consult rooms, a new procedure room including two staff stations, staff receptions, waiting areas, clean utility, dirty utility, paediatrics allied health gymnasium and supporting amenities.

All works were delivered within a live hospital environment adjacent to critical clinical areas, whilst ensuring uninterrupted hospital operations.

With this stage complete, we’re one step closer to commencing the new Cardiac Hybrid Theatre for the Central Queensland community.
