Behind the Scenes at Queen and Pohlman

Our next generation of construction professionals recently joined some of our management team on-site at our Queen and Pohlman site in Southport for a hands-on learning experience into this unique project.

Currently under construction, the social housing project will deliver 39 apartments, including one and two bedroom layouts to suit diverse needs, along with multiple Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) units for enhanced accessibility.

Mark, our Project Manager, led a comprehensive site tour, sharing insights into overcoming the challenges posed by the site’s access constraints. He also highlighted the innovative techniques and strategies used throughout each project phase.

Construction of the two-building design has been carefully staged with Building Q now in the finishes stage, with tiling, joinery, and fit-out well advanced. Building P is progressing with formwork, preparing for the level 5 slab pour.
