Big lift at Anzac Ave, Redcliffe

A major milestone reached on our Anzac Avenue social housing development, with the tower crane successfully erected on site.

With the site located along a busy main road in Redcliffe, the lift needed to take place overnight to minimise disruption to traffic and surrounding services, including working carefully around live powerlines.

A significant amount of planning went into the operation well in advance, with the team coordinating approvals, engaging external stakeholders, and managing neighbours due to the proximity of the lift. Careful fatigue management also ensured crews could safely tag-team day and night works without disrupting normal site activities.

Despite some tricky weather conditions, the installation was completed seamlessly and on schedule — a great result for everyone involved.

This 8-level, 49 apartment project will deliver much-needed homes for the community, and it’s great to see momentum building on site.
