Constructing Homes for Those in Need

Two of our site teams recently welcomed Minister for Housing Meaghan Scanlon, as she toured our social housing projects across the region – Caboolture Social Housing and Townsville Youth Foyer.

The Caboolture project is nearing completion, soon to accommodate individuals with disabilities and seniors who require great levels of accessibility within the Moreton Bay region. The complex consists of 15 single bedroom apartments and five two-bedroom apartments.

Construction of the Townsville Youth Foyer is well underway, aiming to be completed later this year.  Once finished it will consist of 40 self-contained units, providing safe, stable and affordable housing for young people, aged 16 to 25 years, who need support and accommodation while they engage in education, training and employment.
