Cultural Collaboration at Gladstone SHS Construction Site
Earlier this month, our Gladstone SHS construction site welcomed several Indigenous contractors, alongside representatives from DSDSATSIP, Superintendent Honeywill Consulting and Traditional Owners. Setting the tone, the morning began with a moving Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony.
Paynters representatives Grant Marshall and Shane Ellem highlighted the opportunities available to Indigenous subcontractors on the project, underscoring Paynters dedication to fostering change and providing equal opportunities for all. The team talked in detail around the construction outcomes that will bring the new Industrial Technology Design Building to life.
We thank our valued project partners and subcontractors for their participation and feedback throughout the event, and we look forward to building and strengthening our relationships throughout the project’s duration.
