Exciting Progress at Tannum Sands

We thought it was time we shared a progress update on the Aged Care Facility in Tannum Sands — and it’s safe to say it’s completely transformed the hill!

The lift installation is coming along well and we’re aiming to have it ready by the end of March. Once that’s complete, we’ll be able to remove the crane and the last of the scaffold loading docks — a big milestone for the project. From there, we’ll finish the cladding to the north sunrooms and the west side lift foyer.

Outside, there’s plenty happening:
• Carpark pavements have started on the southern side
• Sandstone retaining wall works kick off along the main access road
• External cladding continues on the lift foyer wall

Inside, finishes are moving quickly across all levels:

Ground Floor – Kitchen stainless steel installation is nearly complete, with laundry equipment now going in.
Level 1 – Joinery installed and carpet complete to both wings.
Level 2 – Joinery installed, with carpet progressing on the south wing.
Level 3 – Plasterboard complete to the wings, joinery and painting underway, and ensuites waterproofed with bedding now progressing.

Great momentum on site as we push toward the next stage.
