Factory Restoration Post-Fire
Paynters was engaged late last year when a fire broke out at a security window and door powder coating factory in Crestmead, QLD. The soot and smoke damage within the building caused significant disruptions to the powder coating company’s operations and led them to consider vacating the premises. With the risk of a large loss of rent claim, Paynters went into solution mode.
Just eleven days after Paynters received the allocation, we commenced a stage 1 soot and smoke restoration process that would allow the tenant to recommence operations sixteen days later. Over the next five months, the powder coating company built up enough stock, enabling them to shut down with minimal disruption while we replaced the roof, purlins, wall cladding, and electricals, and completed the stage 2 soot and smoke restoration.
