Fyshwick Warehouses Under Repair After Canberra Hailstorm

When Canberra was lashed with a hailstorm in late January 2020, Paynters mobilised quickly to assess the damage and ensure make safe precautions were implemented.

Damage to the ACT had been quite considerable with one of our projects in Fyshwick requiring roof replacements to 36,000m² of their warehouse space. The works also include compliance upgrades and the replacement of damaged wall cladding.

In total, Paynters are working to restore 5 warehouses, which are fundamentally freight or cold storage, back to their original state.

All roof replacements being undertaken are without interruptions to the tenancies normal business operations. Paynters will complete the project by the mid of July.
