Grant Marshall, Indigenous Engagement Manager

Grant Marshall is a proud Eastern Arrernte man who has been part of the Paynters Group of companies for over a decade. In January this year, Paynters were thrilled to have Grant officially accept the position of Indigenous Engagement Manager within our business. In this role, Grant continues to build relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, industry partners and play a key role in mentoring the next generation of construction trainees and apprentices.

Grant kicked off his duties in Townsville alongside the wonderful team at Clontarf Foundation, speaking to students from Kirwan State High School about the importance of education. The visit was a tremendous success, with Paynters due to host students for work experience placement over the coming months. The team also paid a visit to Paynters Mentor Partners at the NRL Cowboys House, meeting with teachers and students to discuss pathways into construction.
