Honouring National Sorry Day

This morning, members of our team attended the Winnam Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders Corporation’s National Sorry Day Commemoration Ceremony and BBQ Breakfast at Breakwater Park, Wynnum.

It was a powerful morning of reflection and connection as we stood with Aunty Becky Thompson, the incredible team at Winnam ATSIC, Joan Pease MP, Kara Cook, Councillor Alex Givney, local students, and community members to honour the Stolen Generations and reflect on the ongoing journey of healing.

After the ceremony, we visited our Winnam Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF) project to check in on progress and connect with the team delivering this important development to the bayside community.

We are proud to support and walk alongside our First Nations communities—always learning, always listening.
