It’s All Happening at New Farm State School
Last Friday, we had the pleasure of welcoming Hon Grace Grace MP (Minister of Education) to our New Farm State School project.
Paynters Project Manager Mitch Kruk was delighted to show the Minister, Principal, and other key stakeholders the progress to date on the new education infrastructure, which will play a pivotal role in supporting the growing school community.
Our guests were given a guided walking tour through the various construction areas with the new multi-storey learning centre, administration and resource centre taking tremendous shape. The school are very much looking forward to enjoying these new state of the art facilities come 2022.
The Minister also took time to catch up with Paynters on-site apprentices – Nick and Braith. Nick’s hard work and dedication these last 4 years sees him weeks away from completing his apprenticeship with Paynters, soon to be a qualified carpenter.
Braith has successfully completed his school-based traineeship, working across several Paynters sites in last 12 months, gaining valuable hands-on experience.
Today, Paynters are proud to offer Braith a formal apprenticeship with the business. Congratulations to our team members on these achievements, and well done to our project team for their efforts at New Farm State School to date.
