Paynter Dixon Queensland are proud to announce the completion of the state of the art New Direction Care Facility in Bellmere. New Direction Care opened as the world’s first inclusive village for older people with dementia and special care needs.

Design and Constructed by PDQ, this ground-breaking Residential Aged Care facility provides an alternative to the more traditional models of care delivery which remain prominent in Australia. The relationship based living community consists of 17 unique houses that enable independence for residents. They include fully functional domestic scale kitchens, dining rooms, laundry facilities and sitting rooms – providing residents with the feel of home they’re used to. PDQ have had a long history of improving the living and social environment of people with dementia and have enacted evidence based principles in designing and planning of facilities for the past 20 years.
