Members of the team wrapped up the 2022 year with a key training and development initiative – the Paynters Mentoring Program. For a second consecutive year, Senior Management welcomed our younger team members to the Paynters head office for a 2-day program, where they interacted with guest speakers and internal leaders on a number of relevant topics.

The program addressed personal and professional goals, mental health, diversity, cultural awareness and more. Paynters were honoured to host several external mentors over the course of the program, including Antonio Winterstein (Former North Queensland Cowboys Player and Mental Health Advocate), Shayna Jack (Australian Swimmer and Medallist) and Saia Fainga’a (Australian Professional Rugby Union Player).

Our next gen team members thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to turn focus to their career aspirations and personal goals. Paynters are passionate about supporting career pathways, with the program in place to guide our apprentices, trainees, cadets and younger team in the early stages of their construction industry journeys.
