Paynters pull off a hat trick at the Master Builders Awards
We weren’t just warming up when we built the Mackay Aquatic and Recreational Centre and Master Builders clearly didn’t think so either!
Paynters have taken out the award for Project of the Year & best Sporting Facility over $10m at the Mackay & Whitsunday Master Builders QLD Excellence in Construction awards on the 16th August.
We also managed to snag the best Community Accommodation for Aged Care & Nursing Homes for Murroona Gardens in Bowen, a 32-bed ward designed and constructed by Paynters late last year.
A huge congratulations to the project team involved in both of these incredible projects, what a tremendous effort and result.
Judges’ comments on the night for the Mackay Aquatic and Recreational Centre:
“It is great to see this fantastic project has been completed with such precision and quality workmanship,” the judges said.
“The quality ensures that the endorsement for this project gains international accreditation.”
“The enormity of this project was not lost on the judges and they were impressed by the collaboration involved and the ability of the contractor to meet the many challenges that impacted on the project”
