#PayntersProud – Matt’s Milestone

Meet Matt – One of our NQ Project Managers who has recently reached 10 years with Paynters!
Matt is an integral part of the Paynters family and has managed a large number of key projects the NQ region. Known for his commitment to the team and some legendary Christmas party outfits, Matt’s impact goes beyond his role – he’s truly one of a kind!
So, what’s kept Matt at Paynters for the past 10 years? We asked him…
What do you love about Paynters?
The culture at Paynters is unmatched. The construction industry is inherently stressful, but with a culture focused on team effort rather than individual achievement, that burden can be shared. From the top down, everyone is willing to step in and assist when the going gets tough. This fosters a terrific team culture that is something to be celebrated.
What sets Paynters apart in your opinion?
“Paynters ability to adapt and diversify across a broad range of market sectors is what I believe sets us apart from the competition. During my time at Paynters, I’ve had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including stadiums, education facilities, aged care, pubs and clubs, apartments, insurance rectification works, and everything in between. The company’s proven track record across all of these sectors, as well as our ability to deliver everything in-house from a design and construct perspective, definitely sets us apart.”
What has kept you coming back for 10 years?
“One of the key reasons I’ve kept coming back for a decade is the experienced personnel within the Paynters business who truly know the industry inside and out. Being able to lean on these team members and knowing you can rely on them for advice and support makes you feel like a valued part of the team.
The way Paynters conducts its business has played a major role in my long tenure. Paynters has built a reputation as a builder of choice.
The collaborative approach we take with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants is second to none. This has allowed me to build lifelong relationships that have been formed in what is often a traditionally stressful construction environment.”
