Paynters partnered with the City of Gold Coast, to deliver the new Broadbeach Cultural Precinct, which included the upgrade and expansion of the Albert Waterways Community Centre (now known as the Broadbeach Cultural Centre) and Life Education Centre (now known as the Broadbeach Community Space).

The aim of the project was to improve integration and accessibility with other the existing community infrastructure and surrounding public parkland, creating a master planned cultural precinct with dance and performance spaces, art hub, offices spaces and more.

Delivered by Paynters, the centre boasts an upgraded auditorium with new foyer and lounge areas, dance studio, multipurpose hall and meeting room along with new audio-visual sound and lighting technology.

The building formed stage 1 of the precinct revitalisation, with the extension and major refurbishments undertaken to improve integration and accessibility with other the existing community infrastructure and surrounding public parkland.

Paynters were thrilled to handover the keys to the building, which now provides innovative creative and social spaces for the Gold Coast community to enjoy.
