Griffith University engaged Paynters as Managing Contractor to design and construct buildings across three Queensland Health sites as part of its investment in facilities for its clinical education network in the South Burnett and Darling Downs Regions.

Oral Health facilities are included on the Warwick site and student accommodation forms the other major part of the scope of this project across all three sites. Development on the Warwick hospital site includes a Dental and Oral Health service facility comprised of reception and waiting area; six operatory chairs; instrument dispensary and store areas; a plastering and polishing laboratory; office and computer workstation areas and amenities. The project involves the conversion of an existing ward area within the Oaks Building on the Hospital site. Paynters researched a range of technical and material options to deliver fit for purpose facilities that meet patient, safety and teaching requirements and achieve best possible value for money.
