That dramatic light box sign blaze at the Hilton Hotel & Residences in Surfers Paradise made headlines — and now, our insurance team is on site delivering the complex rectification works.

To facilitate the work, our team installed an impressive suspended engineered scaffold 118m above street level to safely access and carry out works on the hotel’s facade. Suspended high above street level and in the heart of Surfers Paradise, and in close proximity to the tram line, the scaffold could only be erected and dismantled between 1am and 4am Monday – Wednesday.

The works include the removal and replacement of the external parapet sarking, battens, and wall cladding, along with rebuilding the fire-damaged sign box.
