Milton State School, Junior Learning Centre

Engaged by the Department of Education, Paynters recently completed construction of the new junior learning centre at Milton State School.

The multi-storey learning centre features classrooms for prep students, general use and outdoor learning areas, with associate amenities. Renovations were also undertaken in heritage listed buildings.

Elevated link bridges were constructed to adjoin the new building to the existing buildings, whilst working in and around heritage protected tree zones and heritage underground services.

In addition to the new building, a major services upgrade was completed across the school campus to protect the infrastructure from future flood impacts.
