Paynters has successfully delivered a social and affordable housing project in partnership with Community Housing Limited.

Set across a tight 1,000sqm site, the development features a six- and seven-storey building with 39 modern apartments, designed to Gold, Platinum and Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) standards. The project also includes dedicated carer’s accommodation, a shared basement, and thoughtfully planned common areas to support accessibility, safety, and community living.

Overcoming significant challenges—including asbestos contamination, subsurface groundwater issues, and restricted site logistics with overhead HV/LV power lines and single-point access due to the light rail—Paynters delivered a high-quality outcome that provides much-needed housing options for the Gold Coast community.
