A major upgrade to the existing bus station at the Redland Bay Marina. This included the demolition of the existing Ticket Office, toilets, and waiting area. Construction of a new enclosed waiting area, retail space, public toilet facilities, kiosk, bus platforms, roadways, landscaped public plaza, and new driver’s facility.

A significant portion of the project was the design and construction of temporary facilities for use by the public, prior to the demolition and removal of the existing facilities. These works included the construction of a temporary bus station complete with seating, shading, lighting and protection from the elements. Paynters worked collaboratively with the client (Transport & Main Roads and Translink) to ensure the project was delivered with minimal disruption to the public.
