Social Housing Palmer Street, North Mackay

Working with our long-term clients at the Department of Energy and Public Works, Paynters recently undertook the design and construction of 10 x 1-bed apartments in North Mackay.

Comprising of 3x Platinum, 2x Gold, 5x General standard apartments, the 3x 2-storey buildings are linked by common walkways and ramps, alongside a common outdoor area.

Due to its location, design innovation was essential to integrate flood plain retention storage and maintain overland flow underneath each building.
