St Hilary’s Anglican Church

In 2025, the St Hillary’s Anglican Church community faced a significant challenge following a major fire. Today, the site stands completely revitalised, thanks to a collaborative design and construct effort between the church committee and the Paynters team.

Managed through a cost-plus framework, the project was as much about community continuity as it was about construction because the site is used every day by locals, we staged our handovers to ensure the church building and community hall were back in action within a matter of months after we arrived on-site

The final stage of the project saw the total transformation of the ‘link’ structure. What was once damaged is now a contemporary masterpiece, boasting a grand kitchen for Sunday morning fellowship and a beautiful glass façade that opens the church up to the surroundings.
