The Bower Tree Wins QMBA Award

On Friday night, our team attended the Sunshine Coast Master Builders Housing & Construction Awards, and we’re super proud to walk away as winners!

The Bower Tree took out the award for Retail Facilities over $5 million.

Paynters was appointed as Managing Contractor to deliver the design and construction of this vibrant new social destination on the Sunshine Coast. With initial plans for The Bower Tree put on hold throughout COVID – late 2021 saw the contract signed, and Paynters hit the ground running to deliver the project. Working alongside the Boldbridge Group, we forged an inclusive and collaborative relationship, with all stakeholders committed to bringing this vision to life for the Sunshine Coast region.

Collaborating with KP Architects, the architectural design of The Bower Tree sets it apart from traditional club establishments. Unique curved shapes adorn the exterior, creating a covered walkway that allowed guests to move between different areas in any weather condition. Additionally, the interior features a distinct colour scheme in each space, giving patrons the sensation of transitioning through different landscapes or destinations. This attention to detail contributes to the club’s ambience and enhances the overall visitor experience.

The awards night was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the hard work our team and valued subcontractors dedicated to bringing The Bower Tree to life for the local community.
