Tongs Down: 2025 Battle of the BBQs
The tongs have been working overtime in September across our sites for Battle of the BBQs— all in the name of raising awareness and funds for TIACS, who provide free mental health support to tradies, truckies, and blue-collar workers.
We’re proud to share that with the incredible generosity of our teams, subcontractors, and community, we raised an astounding $63,590!
That’s approx. 440 professional mental health counselling sessions to those in the industry that need it most –“By Industry, For Industry”
This was our fifth year running the Battle, and we smashed our records — with Week 4 alone raising more than our entire 2024 Battle!
🥇 Bragging rights go to our Tannum RACF site for topping the charts with an impressive $23,285.
A huge thanks to Von and Ash from TIACS who joined us at our Caboolture Sports Club site for the final push – making sure the sausages kept sizzling and the conversation around mental health kept flowing.
Thank you to everyone who contributed, donated, and showed up. Together, we’ve proven once again that a simple BBQ can make a massive difference, and we’re proud to continue backing the important work TIACS does in our industry and beyond.
