Turning Setbacks into Comebacks!

After a fire damaged a popular IGA in Brunswick, the Paynters Victorian Insurance Team was engaged to complete the early investigation and lead the refurbishment efforts. With the store’s repairs expected to take over 12 months, we saw an opportunity to help the family-run business reopen a portion of their floor space much sooner.

With each challenge presented, our team continued finding new and innovative solutions – working closely with local council officials and consultants to put forward a proposal which would enable this beloved business to get back on its feet and reduce the Business Interruption claim.

During the two-month construction period, we installed new Fire, HVAC, Electrical, and Refrigeration services, and restored and refurbished the area to welcome back the community.

The temporary IGA Store is now open—and business is booming in Brunswick once again!
