Welcomed Renal Unit for Capricorn Coast Hospital & Health Service

It was a great pleasure to join Minister for Health, Shannon Fentiman, Assistant Health Minister, Brittany Lauga, and dedicated hospital staff for the announcement of the new satellite renal unit at Capricorn Coast Hospital & Health Service in Yeppoon.

At Paynters, we take great pride in being the chosen contractors for the design and construction of this transformative stand-alone building. Featuring a ground floor and mezzanine, the facility will house 8 renal chairs along with associated clinical support areas.

This life changing addition to CQHHS will allow Capricorn Coast patients to cut their travel time by four to five hours per week, bringing treatment closer to home. This facility becomes increasingly crucial as the demand for dialysis services continues to grow.
